Scotch, Scotch Gambit and Göring
When White plays 3.d4 we take and, after 4.Nxd4, develop the bishop to c5 with an attack on the knight. Against the gambits (4.Bc4 and 4.c3) we develop and give the pawn back at the right moment rather than cling to it. The Scotch Gambit even transposes into our Italian main line.
