King's Indian and Grünfeld set-ups
Against …g6 and …Bg7 the London stays solid. Play h3 early: when Black's knight jumps to h5 to hunt your bishop, the bishop drops back to h2. The f1 bishop goes to e2, not d3. Against …d6 and …e5 (King's Indian) watch for dxe5; against …d5 (Grünfeld style) e5 becomes your outpost. The same set-up works after 1…d5 2.Bf4 Nf6 3.e3 g6: Nf3, h3, Be2 and castle.
